DescriptionCastelnuovo del Garda in the historical center, we propose you the estate Villa masterly, as follows: Private entrance from which you enter the large living room with open kitchen, with the possibility of separating it without having to take a seat in the living room and a first bathroom. The upper floor is accessible by a comfortable staircase, where there are three large double rooms with balcony overlooking the garden of the house, two bathrooms, a master in one of the bedrooms. In the basement we have a large tavern with fireplace, cellar, laundry room, a fourth bathroom and a large garage of over 30 square meters. Around the property there is a private garden of over 200 square meters.
Castelnuovo is 18 km from Verona. Compared to the capital it is in a western position.
It borders Lazise to the north, Bussolengo to the northeast, Sona to the east, Valeggio sul Mincio to the south, Peschiera del Garda to the southwest, Sirmione (province of Brescia) to the west.
A small part of the municipality in the extreme west is washed by Lake Garda and separates the municipalities of Peschiera and Lazise, but the area extends mainly to the moraine hills. In ancient times the site was known as "Beneventum", later it was given the name "Quadrivium" because of its geographical location (the country is actually located between the four cities of Verona, Mantua, Brescia and Trento).
In the XII century, Quadrivium was razed to the ground by Barbarossa: the population decided to build a new fortified settlement, "Castrum novum", which over time turned into Castelnuovo.
The town, known in its history as Castelnuovo di Verona from 1867 onwards under different dominations (from the victory of the Skaligeri to that of the Visconti, from the Republic of Venice to the Austrian Empire), received its present name in 1970 for a strip of land on the shores of Lake Garda.
